James Michael Gelesko

August 9, 1944 ~ March 16, 2019 (age 74)

James Michael Gelesko, 74, of Bridgman, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman  with Reverend Edward A. Meyer officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11  am prior to the service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Jim  was born Wednesday, August 9, 1944 in South Bend, the son of the late Fred and Ruby (Spitzer) Gelesko. Jim was a co-owner of the family business Ad-Co Die Cast. Jim was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a member of the Bridgman Lions Club. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served as an usher.

Jim is survived by his siblings: Ronald (Marilyn) Gelesko, Diana Prittinen, John (April) Gelesko; his nieces and nephews: Mark (Elena) Gelesko, Peter (Laura) Gelesko, Paige (Matt) Hunter, Katie (Kit) Stull, Jennifer Gelesko and David (Allison) Prittinen. Survivors also include many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel. 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
