After a career spanning four decades teaching elementary school students, she retired from Butler School District 53, Oak Brook, Illinois, in 1994. A longtime resident of Western Springs, Illinois, Ginny and John moved to Michigan in 1997. Several years ago when working on one of her myriad projects, Mom wrote that John and family were the most important parts of her life and made her journey exciting and rewarding. We were blessed with unconditional love and devotion to one another. In Mom’s words, family (and friends) were always there for whatever was needed.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91. Confident that Mom is home, dwelling in the shelter of the Lord and together again with John and Katie.
