Allie “Pat” Arlene Myatt, 79, of Bridgman passed away at her home on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in the care of her family.

A funeral service will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with grandson Bill Crowder officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 11 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Ave., Benton Harbor, MI 49022. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.

Pat was born June 17, 1938 in Shelbyville, Illinois the daughter of the late Lancelot and Anna (McElroy) Barker. She retired from Bendix Corp. after 23 years of service. Pat loved traveling and spending time with her family. She loved going to all her great grandkids events; the softball fields, soccer fields, dance recitals, basketball games, football games, and cheerleading competitions. Pat always said she had gypsy feet and a Michigan heart. She loved her animals and caring for them.

Survivors include her husband, Carl J. Myatt, Sr.; four children – Russell “Don” Curtis, Julia “Carol” Novak, Martha “Char” (Joe) Burks and Tracy (Chris) Bell; nine grandchildren – Joe Allred, Brigette Curtis, Kimberly (Bill) Crowder, Kristal (John) Dzienis, Brandy (Clayton) Schultz, Eric Adams, Jeffrey Myatt, Mariah (Michael) Ramsey, Jaime Bell; and many great grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen “Sue” Curtis, in 2016; four brothers and two sisters.
