Beverly Reisig

Beverly Ann Reisig, 74, of Baroda passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph with her family at her side.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1 PM, at Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda, with Reverend Christopher Noffke officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 6 - 8 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Beverly was born December 1, 1937 in Glendora, Michigan the daughter of the late Alexander and Ernestine Adele (Schlieman) Dinges. She enjoyed volunteering at the Berrien County Youth Fair with horses and Home Economics for over 30 years. Beverly was a cosmetologist and later became an instructor at St. Joseph Beauty College for 27 years. She also worked 10 years as a para-professional at Lakeshore Middle School. Bev enjoyed researching and studying her ancestry and genealogy. She was an avid White Sox fan and found great joy attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events.

Survivors include her husband Duane; children - Patricia (Paul) Knight of Berrien Springs, Julie (Remo) Amicarelli of Baroda, Gary (Pam) Reisig of Stevensville; grandchildren - Meredith, Mark (Denise) Reisig, Nicole, Natalie, Nina, and Nadia Amicarelli, Emily and Alexander Knight; great grandson - Ian Avery; sisters - Eleanor Maier of Berrien Springs and Kay (Vernon) Roeder of Stevensville.

Beverly was preceded in death by a son, Gene Reisig and her brother Leonard Dinges.
