Bonnie Phillips

Bonnie Jean Phillips, 61 of Berrien Springs passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, May 15, 2017 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, with Pastor Cathy A. Ganus officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Monday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of SW Michigan, 641 S. Bonnie was born December 26, 1955 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the daughter of William and Mary Ganus. On February 22, 1975 she married Bobby Gene Rogers and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2004. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting and kniting and loved being with her cats.

Survivors include three sons: Clifford (Jessica) Rogers, David Rogers and Mark Rogers; a step daughter: Penie Phillips; seven grandchildren; her mother: Mary Walton; a sister: Betty Walton and two brothers: David (Janet) Ganus and Timothy (Cathy) Ganus.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her second husband, Rick Phillips in 2014 and her father, William Ganus in 1990.
