Carolyn Harding

Carolyn Sue Harding, 68, of Stevensville passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman with Mike Gathright officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, August 13 from 2 - 4 PM at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Operation Good Cheer, 401 8th Street, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Carolyn was born July 4, 1949 in Elizabethton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Richard and Orpha (Law) Dugger. On April 4, 1970 she married Alford Harding and they shared 47 years together. Carolyn loved hummingbirds and all the flowers that would attract them. She enjoyed being a housewife and Nana; especially cooking zucchini bread with her granddaughters and spending most of her spare time with them. Carolyn and Al were two peas in a pod and her family was the most important priority in her life.

Carolyn is survived by her husband: Alford; daughter: Amanda Sue (Mark) Olson; granddaughters: Eva and Sadie Olson; brother: Richard (Pricilla) Dugger; sister: Doris Berry; and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was also preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Dugger.
