Carrie Moore Holt

Carrie Moore Holt, 87, of Bridgman passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery, New Troy. Carrie was born on February 10, 1936 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late James and Bell (McGee) Kemp. On October 28, 1955 she married Clifford Holt, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2010. Carrie enjoyed working at Corvette Central and working in her gardens. She really loved spending time with her family, but most of all, being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Judy (Stan Niedbala) Snapp, Ricky (Laurie) Holt, Clifford (Lucy) Holt, Jr., Micheal (Cherri’) Holt, Terry (Amy Bennett) Holt; ten grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren with another to arrive in January 2024; and sister: Carolyn (Gordon) McFarlane.

Carrie was also preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
