Catharine Tingley

Catharine S. Tingley, 81 of Harbert passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

Catharine was born November 5, 1937 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catharine (Wheeler) Sizer.  She was a member of Harbert Community Church and also attended the First Presbyterian Church in Michigan City. She had been  a board member and past president of the River Valley Senior Center.  She was a true advocate for rescue animals and volunteered at the nursing homes in the area.

Survivors include her son: Charles “Chad” (Cara) Tingley and a daughter: Kristin Tingley and their father, Charles E. Tingley; grandchildren: Adrianna, Spencer and Gabriel; a sister: Susanne Chapman; a niece and four nephews.  Catharine was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Sizer.

The family will be remembering her at a family service in the Summer.
