Charles Baumeister

Charles E. Baumeister, 92, formerly of New Troy went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Independence Village of Brighton Valley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 23, 2013 at New Troy Grace Brethren Church, 13310 California Road, New Troy with Pastor Larry E. Williams officiating. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 6 - 8 PM Friday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to New Troy Grace Brethren Church.

Charles was born September 22, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Edwin W. and Elizabeth (Schultz) Baumeister. On June 9, 1951 he married Charmaine Holtz and they enjoyed over 61 years together until Charmaine’s death on October 30, 2012.

Survivors include his children - Carol (Paul) Augsburger of Brighton, Michigan, Mark (Laura) Baumeister of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandsons - Mike, Eric (Oralee)and Tony Baumeister, Aaron Augsburger; and brother Edwin Baumeister of Lady Lake, FL.
