Charles, the oldest of three children, was born November 4, 1929 to Lester and Naoma (Sunday) Brohman on the Sunday centennial farm and homestead of which he was a lifelong farmer. The farm originated as a fruit farm, later adding pigs before becoming solely a dairy farm which he then ran with his late brother Keith for over thirty years. Charles fully enjoyed farming. He raised and trained his favorite sheepdog Snoopy to bring in the cows each night for milking upon hearing the gate open. He loved the smell of fresh cut Alfalfa in the fall, and the conversations with area farmers. He will be missed for his gentle spirit, likeable personality, and non-complaining presence.

Charles is survived by his brother Earl (Linda) Brohman of Berrien Springs; nieces, Sandi (Ray) Fulbright of Niles, Sheri (Jim) Kesterke of Berrien Springs, Amy (James) Felgner of Buchanan, nephews, Rodney (Phyllis) Brohman of Berrien Springs, Greg (Mindi Sirk) Brohman of Berrien Springs; 6 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Keith, and his sister-in-law Kathy (Rudell) Brohman.
