Charles Harvey Ludwig was carried home in the loving arms of Christ our Lord May 21, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service will be held 10 AM Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville. Friends may meet with the family from 9-10 am at the church prior to the service.

He was born March 2, 1940 and found his forever family in 1945. Immediately after graduating high school he served in the United States Navy from 1958 – 1963 aboard the USS Intrepid CVA-11 and the USS Leyte CV-32. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his kids, going for a drive with his dogs, a daily trip (or two!) to the supermarket and creating delicious meals for his family.

Charlie is survived by his caring and devoted wife: Linda; children: Kevin Ludwig, Bonnie (Ron) Russell, Sarah (Kevin) Azbill, Michael (Jen) Ludwig and Mark Ludwig; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his biological brothers: Harold Johnson and Paul Haney.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Harvey and Lydia Ludwig; brother: Gerald Baude; and grandson: James Ludwig.
