Charlotte Potter

Charlotte A. Potter, 70, passed on, surrounded by her family Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Baroda Bible Church, with Reverend Brad Lambright officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made towards the needs of the family. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Charlotte A. Potter was born on March 19, 1946 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Carl Henry Benedix, Jr and Margaret (Seils) Reagan. Charlotte was retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 2006. During her life, she managed several apartment complexes in Niles, Benton Harbor and Stevensville. She worked for Dowagiac and Berrien Springs public school for many years.

Survivors include two brothers: James (Karen) Benedix, Gary Benedix; a sister: Debra (Allan) Puplis; nieces and nephews: Jamie (Troy) and son Calvin Bash, Emily Benedix, Gwen (Rick) Szczepanski and their children Stephen, Sterling and Tyrone Mead, Eugina and Ally Mead, Tommy, Katie and Sarah Benedix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, niece, Elizabeth Benedix, one brother, William Benedix, and her dear friend, Colleen Mead.

Her life was enriched with Christian evangelism, and told everyone she met about her Lord and Savior.
