Christine Renee Jensen, 50 of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085 or the needs of the family or South Shore Fellowship, 11159 Red Arrow Highway D9, Bridgman, MI 49106.
Chris was born October 17, 1966 in Buchanan, the daughter of Donald G. and Janet (Sparkowitz) Smith. On July 14, 2006, she married Marshall Jensen. Chris was a graduate of River Valley High School and she had an Associate’s Degree in Business from Lake Michigan College. Chris was a member of the South Shore Fellowship in Bridgman. She worked at Connie’s Place of Baroda. Chris had many interests: she was an avid canoe enthusiast all over the midwest; she loved traveling mostly to the Carribean; she enjoyed dancing and playing pool; but above all she was a caretaker for many of her friends - helping them with whatever needs they had. This was her mission.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years: Marshall; children: Eric Marsh, Ashley Jensen, Jordan Jensen; grandchildren: Justin Welsh, Rodney, Allianah, and Karsen Sartin; sisters: Barbara (Mark) Minges, Diane (Bob) Small; brothers: Keith (Cindy) Davison, Rodney (Lori) Davison; and many, many friends.
Chris was preceded in death by her father: Joe Davison.
