Clara Loraine Trapp, 95, of Bridgman passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at West Woods of Bridgman.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 9, 2018 at Zion United Church of Christ, 9100 Church Street, Baroda, with Reverend Christopher Noffke officiating. Friends may meet with the family following the service at the church during a time of lunch and fellowship. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085 or Zion United Church of Christ, PO Box 10, Baroda, MI 49101.

Clara was born August 7, 1922 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Herman and Annetta (Klukas) Hafer. On May 5, 1951 she married Herbert Robert Trapp and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2014. She was a faithful member of Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda and enjoyed playing Bingo. Clara retired from Bendix Corp., St. Joseph in 1979 after 23 years of service. She assisted with the election in Lake Township and wintered in Florida.

Survivors include her children Dawn (Carl) King and Denise (Morris) Wilkie; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and a brother, Herman Hafer. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Clarence and Harold and two sisters, Eleanor and Beatrice.
