Clarence “Skip” Anthony Hamann, 67 of Bridgman passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Woodland Terrace in Bridgman with his family by his side.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 26, 2017 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, with Reverend Dale Gadd officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 1 - 2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to The Alano House or CurePSP.org - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Skip was born Sunday, February 12, 1950 in Dowagiac, and raised in Cassopolis, Michigan, the son of the late Clarence John and Theresa Elizabeth (Vargo) Hamann. Skip worked at Weldun International and Eagle Technology. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed attending sports events. Skip graduated from Western Michigan University.
Survivors include his sons: Michael (Jill) Hamann, Anthony (Tracy) Hamann and their mother: Glenna; grandchildren: Justin, Alex, Katie, and Rachel; great grandchildren: Ava and Madison; sisters: Barbara Focht, Kate Anderson; special friend: Marilyn Legault; and his best buddy: Wayne Wright.
Skip was also preceded by his brother: Paul Hamann.
