Daniel Mitowski

Daniel Paul Mitowski, 74, of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 19, 2017 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 4071 Naomi Road, Sodus, MI 49126. Friends may meet with the family from 6 - 8 PM Thursday at The Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Daniel was born October 14, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Wapniarski) Mitowski. On February 15, 1964 he married Karen Krause sharing 53 years of marriage. He worked at Bendix in St. Joseph for over 30 years and then went on to Metal Processor’s in Stevensville for 10 years. Daniel attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Karen; sons: Daniel (Sandra), Brian (Cindy), and Phillip; and grandchildren: Kyle and Amber; and dear friends: Bob Niezgodski and Judy Thompson.
