David Michael Seeley, 77, of Baroda, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church Catholic Church, 3903 Lake St., Bridgman, MI 49106. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
David was born to Mickey and Frances (Hansen) Seeley on February 8, 1949, in Benton Harbor. He attended St. John’s Catholic Schools and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1967.
After high school, Dave began working at Berrien Automotive, which later became Ridge & Kramer. He eventually became the manager, specializing in automotive parts and paint.
Dave proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of a helicopter crew and served as an aircraft repairman. During his service, he received several medals.
David married Christine Wagner in 1987. Together, they enjoyed attending car shows and going on cruises with their friends. Dave was a member of the Southwest Michigan Car Club and the Twin Cities Camera Club. He also enjoyed volunteering at his church’s food pantry, where he made many lasting friendships.
An avid fisherman, Dave enjoyed spending time outdoors and sharing good times with friends. Friday nights were often spent at the Navajo Restaurant with his good friends Dennis and Betty Stampohar and Dave and Cindy White.
David is survived by his sister, Barbara Sadler; brother, Tom (Kathy) Seeley; sister-in-law, Pam (Glen) Greiffendorf; brother-in-law, Scott Olmstead; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Frances Seeley; his wife, Christine; his brother, Ron Seeley; and his brother-in-law, Robert Sadler.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
