Dianne Louise Carlson, 63, of Bridgman passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Bethany Beach Tabernacle, 12684 Oak Park, Sawyer, with Dr. Bob Laurent officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 5 - 8 PM Monday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Three Oaks. Memorial contributions may be given to Granger Community Church, 630 E. University Drive, Granger, Indiana 46530.

Dianne was born December 26, 1951 in Jamestown, New York, the daughter of the late Gunnard Emmanuel and Geraldine Emma (Linn) Erickson. On September 1, 1973 she married Kenneth W. Carlson and they shared 42 years of marriage. Dianne was an administrator for Area Agency on Aging in St. Joseph and was a columnist for the Herald Palladium. She ran the Senior Expo at LMC for many years. Her faith in Christ gave Dianne great compassion for others. Dianne’s love was for her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts - and had a craft room built to accommodate her talents.

Survivors include her husband Ken; children: Erin (Paul) Holte of Eagan, Minnesota, Brook (Dan Stewart) Carlson of Sherman Oaks, California; grandchildren: Amelia and Anders Holte; sister: Susan Smith of Munhall, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
