Dolores "Dodie" Ann Brunke

Dolores “Dodie” Ann Brunke, 79, of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday, November 17, at the funeral home. Dodie was born October 18, 1943 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Max and Anna (Klug) Myers. Dodie was an avid gardener and loved to cook; she was the co-owner and chef at Sinbad’s West in St. Joseph. She also enjoyed her job as an interior designer. Dodie had a very contagious smile. She was affectionately known by her nieces and nephews as Aunt Bubbles.

Survivors include the love of her life: Dennis Dady; sister: Joanne (Larry) Reifschneider; nephew: Michael (Jackie) Myers; nieces: Emelee (Brian) Rajzer and Suzanne (Derrick) Miller; great nephews and a niece: Brandon Rajzer, Logan Rajzer, Henry Miller and Adeline Miller; brother-in-law: Don Young.

Dolores was also preceded in death by her siblings: Frances Young and Robert Myers; niece: Tina Bender; and great nephew: Gabriel Rajzer.
