Donald John Ponegalek

Donald John Ponegalek, 89, of Stevensville, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be remembering Donald privately. Memorial contributions may be given to Three Oaks American Legion, Post 204, 204 W Linden St, Three Oaks, MI 49128. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Donald was born on June 8, 1933 in Wilson, Michigan, the son of the late John and Stella (Holy) Ponegalek. On September 15, 1956 he married Judith Glossinger and they shared 66 years together. Donald was very proud to serve our country in the Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife: Judy; children: Janet Ott (Terry Smith) and Brad Ponegalek; grandchildren: Joseph (Denise) Ott, Rachel (Eric) Ott, Andrew (T’nea) Ott, Maddison (Dallas) Boersma, Bryce (Kami) Ponegalek; seven great grandchildren: Leland Ott, Ellie Rae Ott, Leanna Ott, Braiden Boersma, Finley Boersma, Creek Boersma, and Arlo Boersma.
