Elizabeth Barbott

Elizabeth Barbott, 96, of Stevensville passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Regency Care in Whitmore Lake.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM (EDT) Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville with Reverend Brett Ehlke officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Friends may meet with the family from 5 - 7 PM Friday, October 26, at the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremations Service, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Elizabeth was born on May 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Henry and Alberta (Kussmull) Gorske. On April 11, 1942, she married Clarence H. Barbott, who proceeded her in death. Also proceeding her in death was her son: Albert Barbott; all of her siblings: Hannah Caruso, Ella Gast, Victor Gorske Sr, William Gorske Sr, Mary Falak, Julius Gorske, Rose Kussman, Clara Hettlinger, August Gorske, Elmer Gorske and Gladys Warmbein.

Survivors include her loving daughter: Clara (Dr. Michael) Smith, Chelsea; grandchildren: Andrew (Miriam) Barbott, Stevensville, Todd (Nikki) Barbott, Granger, Michelle (Tom) Schroeder, Baroda, Melissa (Lance) Aldrich, Pewamo, Melody (Michael) Patterson, Lansing; great grandchildren: Nathan & Zachary Barbott, Matthew and Jeremy Barbott, Christopher Schroeder, Aiden and Anya Aldrich, Elaina and Michael Patterson; and many nieces and nephews.
