Elsie Lemon

Elsie Lemon, 92, of Baroda passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 at The Willows, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Thursday, January 15 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Baroda with the Rev. Kenneth S. Babcock officiating. Burial will be in Hinman Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home.

Mrs. Lemon was born October 12, 1916 in Dowagiac the daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Hein) Bandurski. On October 16, 1947 she married Leonard L. Lemon and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2007. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baroda.

Survivors include two sons – Arden (Carolyn) Strouts of Stevensville and Lee (Janice) Lemon of St. Joseph; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two sisters – Marie and Esther.

Elsie was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
