Emeretta Armour

Emeretta “Sue” Armour, 72 of Grand Rapids, formerly Three Oaks passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, May 26, 2017 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, MI with Rev. Allen Kleine Deters officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Friday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of SW Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Avenue, Benton Harbor MI 49022. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery.

Sue was born February 1, 1945 in Cooke County, Illinois the daughter of the late Emery and Joanna (Karr) Mezei. She was an administrative assistant at Cascade Engineering, Grand Rapids.

Survivors include a son, Peter Allbritten; a grandson, Matthew Zienert; a granddaughter, Olivia (Jeremy Kleine Deters) Zienert; three sisters, Joanna Kinnart, Pat Ewing and Betty Mezei; two brothers, Donald (Charlotte) Mezei and Robert (Debbie) Mezei.

Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Zienert in 2008.
