Erna Jungblut

Erna L. Jungblut, 95 of Sawyer passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer with Reverend Randy D. Lett officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM Thursday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, PO Box 247, Sawyer, MI 49125.
Erna was born March 17, 1922 in Chicago the daughter of late Emil and Emma (Kaschube) Lentz. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sawyer.

Survivors include children: Elmer (Pearl) Hedtke, William Hedtke and Cheryl (Donald) Harper, six grandchildren, many grand, great and great great grandchildren and a brother Ronald Lentz.

Erna was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Hedtke in 1961 and John Jungblut in 1974, also a daughter, Joyce Poropat in 2015; a grandson, Mark Poropat in 2016 and a sister, Ruth Carlson.
