Eugene Walter Granke

Eugene Walter Granke, 89, of Sawyer, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Royalton Manor in Saint Joseph.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Rev. Jonathan Liebich officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks. Eugene was born on March 9, 1936 in Sawyer the son of the late Erdman and Bessie (Hartline) Granke. He retired from Glidden Paint after many years as a forklift driver. Eugene enjoyed hunting and dancing, and most recently he had been working at Harbor Country Mission.

Survivors include daughter: Marsha; a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Shawna Krieger. Eugene is also survived by his faithful K9 companion Sadie.

Eugene was also preceded in death by his brothers: Ernest, Julius, and Bert Granke; sister: Ruth Tilley; and special friend Beatrice Siemon.
