Frances Herrman

Frances Eleanor (Wickwire) Herrman, 89, of Baroda passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, at home, surrounded by loved ones.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Zion United Church of Christ, 9100 Church Street, Baroda. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion United Church of Christ, PO Box 10, Baroda, MI 49101.

Frances was born July 21, 1924 in Stevensville to Charles and Cecil (Thomas) Wickwire. On February 28, 1946 she married Leslie Edgar Herrman in St. Joseph. Frances worked at Whirlpool Corporation before moving to Baroda to raise a family and operate a dairy farm. She loved baking & canning, and enjoyed the fruits of her labors with friends and family. Frances was a talented gardener, and she loved her flowers and her many birds. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Baroda and enjoyed participating in the Ladies’ Fellowship.

Frances’ husband Leslie preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Pallas; her children: Mark Herrman, Wayne (Cori) Herrman, and Diane (Mark) Kite; her grandchildren: Julia (Sean) Austen, Adam (Gina) Herrman, Conrad (Liz) Kite, Eric Herrman, Camille (Jerry) Bussen, Scott Herrman, Nick (Abbey) Herrman, and Elisa Herrman; and her great grandchildren: Ellie Herrman, Vivian Kite, Carter Herrman, Emmalia Austen, and Valentina Herrman.
