Gladys Dumke

Mrs. Dumke was born October 2, 1929 in Baroda the daughter of the late Elmer and Emma (Ehlert) Mueller. On August 7, 1948 she married Elmer Dumke. Gladys was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevensville. She worked for the USDA for 24 years, retiring in 1989.

Survived By her husband of almost 59 years, Elmer; one brother, Vernon Mueller of Baroda; three children – James (Barbara) Dumke of Stevensville, Richard Dumke of Benton Harbor, and Kathy (Roger) Stephens of Baroda; six grandchildren – Clint (Amy) McCall, Melissa Owen, Elizabeth Tobias, Chrissy Dumke, Shawnda (Mike) Weaver, and Brian Stephens; and six great grandchildren – Zoie McCall, Sierra Owen, Alexia Tobias, Chase Hanlon, Haley Weaver, and Jonathan Weaver.
