Grover Robert Holobaugh, 78, of Bridgman passed away at home on April 20, 2011.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 Shawnee Road, Bridgman, with Reverend Winston Decker officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Grover was born January 12, 1933 in Piketon, Ohio the son of the late Samuel Addison & Ida (Locke) Holobaugh. He was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1993 from Alltel, and enjoyed spending time with family, especially being with his grandkids. His favorite pastimes included, fishing, hunting and camping. Grover and Sally loved to travel and spend their winters in Texas.

Survivors include his wife of over 55 years, Sally; children - Betsy (Duncan) Briggs of Eau Claire, Susan (Dirk) Vander Does of St. Joseph, Cathy (Jack) Kuss of Bridgman, Jon (Jessica) Holobaugh of Bridgman; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Grover was preceded in death by two brothers - Ralph and Joseph.
