Harold Chris Rimpel

Harold Chris Rimpel, 90, of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Woodland Terrace of Niles.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 2673 W John Beers Road, Stevensville, MI 49127, with Pastor Jesse Knox officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Final resting place will be in Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Michigan Lutheran High School, 615 E. Marquette Woods Road. Harold was born on December 27, 1932 in Benton Harbor, the son of the late Gustav and Pauline (Gruber) Rimpel. On September 26, 1953 he married Delores Weber and they shared 70 years together. Harold was a member at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 43 years as a sheet metal model maker.

Survivors include his wife: Delores; children: Timothy (Luann) Rimpel, Michael (Kathy) Rimpel, Daniel (Debbra) Rimpel and Lori Rimpel; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Lillian Hettig and John Rimpel.
