Heather was born on April 18, 1969, in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She made her home in St. Joseph, Michigan, with her beloved husband, Tom Paukowits.

At the age of 29, Heather answered the call to serve her country by enlisting in the United States Army in 1999. During her distinguished military career, she completed two tours in Iraq and was stationed in Germany, Guatemala, Missouri, and Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, where she spent much of her service. Heather proudly served 17 years on active duty, followed by five years in the Army Reserve, retiring after more than two decades of dedicated military service.

Heather found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved trying her luck at the casino, watching and feeding birds, and tending to her flowers. Above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished every opportunity to cuddle, kiss, and create lasting memories with her beloved grandbabies.

Heather is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Paukowits; her son, Dylan St. John; her daughter, Heaven St. John; her stepdaughter, Jessica Paukowits; her grandson, Creed Nichols; her granddaughter, Ariel Gasperoni; her brother, Scott Noble; her sister, Kim McIlroy; and her mother-in-law, Beverly Paukowits.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Andrew Noble, and her mother, Karen Elaine Doolan (Scott).

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106.
