Jack De Jonge, 63, of Holland, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his home.

He is survived by his parents, Lavern and Coralee De Jonge of Holland; siblings: Connie and Russ Wolbers and Karen and Denny Minnema of Zeeland, Mark and Jan De Jonge of Hamilton, and Rachel and Kraig Pike of Bridgman; nieces and nephews: LeeAnn Suman, Joel Wolbers, Ellen Slotman, MaryJo Lacy, Nicole Pike and Alex Pike; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jack was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jack Van Dyke; and a nephew, Michael Van Dyke.

Jack was born on September 9, 1951 in Zeeland. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1969 and served in the US Navy. Jack was a member of First Baptist Church in Zeeland and was employed at Van’s Pines Nursery for 39 years.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at First Baptist Church, 246 W. Main St., Zeeland with the Reverend Clint Echols officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St., Zeeland. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church.
