Jay Alan Krieger, 51, of Baroda passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 10, 2022.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, with Reverend Brandon Wittig, officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11 AM on Tuesday at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Sawyer or the Humane Society - Michigan Yeager Family Pet Shelter, 5400 S. Niles Road, St. Joseph MI 49085. Jay was born on June 28, 1970 in St. Joseph, the son of Dennis and Teresa (Kepler) Krieger. On June 7, 1997 he married Ann Brandt and they shared 24 years together. Jay had previously worked 19 years in security at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant and in his younger years in the meat department at Chucks Market, Sawyer. He enjoyed music and concerts, was an avid guitar player and loved his Corvette. Jay was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 518, New Troy.
Survivors include his wife: Ann; daughter: Cally Krieger; his parents: Dennis and Teresa Krieger; brother: Thomas (Michelle) Krieger; sister: Laura (Andy) Leitert; survivors also include Ann’s parents: Ronald and Betsy Brandt; her brother: Robert (Rebecca) Brandt; and six nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
