Joan Planutis
Mrs. Planutis was born June 27, 1933 in Benton Harbor the daughter of the late Harold and Irna (Schuhknect) Peapples. On August 6, 1955 she married Gerald R. Planutis. Joan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University. She taught school in Grand Ledge and Monroe, Michigan, and was a substitute teacher at Bridgman Public Schools for 20 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bridgman.
