JoAnne Marie Mielke

JoAnne Marie (Taglia) Mielke, 87, of Bridgman passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at Rest Haven Care Center, Holland.

Cremation has taken place and at this time, the family will be remembering JoAnne privately. Memorial contributions may be given to Paws of Hope, 5689 St. Joseph Ave., Stevensville. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

JoAnne was born on July 14, 1935 in St. Joseph, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Standiford) Taglia. On January 4, 1964 she married Myron “Bud” Mielke and he preceded her in death in 2014. JoAnne enjoyed cooking, baking, and flower gardening. She loved her cats, Notre Dame Football and Cubs Baseball.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Rest Haven and Debbie Ruff at Country Manor Care Center.

Survivors include her sons: Joseph Mielke and John (Corrinne) Mielke; granddaughter: Cora Mielke; brother: Paul Taglia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

JoAnne was also preceded in death by her siblings: Marcella Nolan, Charlotte Nolan, Jocelyn Nolan, and John Nolan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
