Johanna Marie Haak, 95 of Bridgman passed away on Friday April 28, 2017 at Royalton Manor.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, May 1, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman, with Reverend Thomas R. Brazinsky officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Women’s League of Immanuel Lutheran Church, PO Box 26, Bridgman, MI 49106.

Johanna was born September 29, 1921 in Germany the daughter of the late Johann and Luise (Danowski) Moneta. On October 23, 1957 she married Ryne Haak and he preceded her in death on December 27, 1995. Johanna immigrated to the United States in 1953 and became a citizen on November 14, 1963.

Survivors include three brothers: Bruno (Renate) Moneta of Kalamazoo, Manfred (Carol) Moneta of Bridgman, and Wolfgang (Margaret) Moneta of Baroda; and many nieces and nephews. Johanna was preceded in death by four sisters.
