John Harold “Elmo” Day, 74, of Baroda passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5 - 7 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman.
John was born September 5, 1939 in Tazewell, Tennessee the son of the late Dana and Beulah (Irvin) Day. John married Theresa Kowalski on December 31, 1978.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Theresa; children - Patricia (Zeke) Godinez of Merrillville, IN, John (Vickie) Galus of Sellersburg, IN, Denise (Tony) Milliken of Bridgman; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister - Dixie (Mack) Gray of Tazewell, TN.
He is also preceded in death by his brother - Shirla Day.
