John Franklin Harding, 59, of Stevensville passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, December 1 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Pastor Eric Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 1 PM until the time of the service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association.
John was born December 31, 1948 in Patterson, Arkansas the son of the late Joseph and Christine (Ward) Harding. He served in the US Navy. John retired from Premier Tool & Die Cast in Berrien Springs.
Survivors include two brothers – Joseph R. (Patricia) Harding of St. Joseph and Ronnie D. Harding of Stevensville; and a sister, Louise (Jimmy) McLean of Stevensville; 12 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
John was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Carolyn Faye; and two brothers – Billy Joe Harding in 1983 and Howard J. Harding in 1985
