John Wesley Stine

John Wesley Stine, 66, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at home.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church St., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Rev. Dr. Douglas Krengel officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday at the church from 10-11, prior to the service. Final resting place will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. John was born on September 9, 1959 in St. Joseph the son of the late James and Jeanette (Myers) Stine. On June 15, 1996 he married the former Sharon Gast. John owned and operated Stine Welding in Bridgman. He had a dream since high school to own and fly a P51. He loved to fly and eventually fulfilled his dream. In his spare time he loved owning pigs and planting corn. He was a self-taught percussionist and enjoyed playing drums for the church praise team. In his younger years, John lived in the Florida Keys and was a commercial fisherman.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sharon; daughter, Christi (Mason) Parsons; a brother, James (Peggy) Stine Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
