John Wreford

John Alan Wreford, 65 of Berrien Springs went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 30, 2018 at his home in the care of his family.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Berrien Center Bible Church, 8830 M-140, Berrien Center. Friends may meet with the family Friday, August 3 from 4:30 -7 pm at Life Action Ministries, 2727 Niles-Buchanan Road, Buchanan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berrien Center Bible Church, 8830 M-140, Berrien Center MI 49102 or Life Action Ministries, 2727 Niles Buchanan Road, Buchanan MI 49107.

John was born Saturday, February 14, 1953 in Gatooma, Rhodesia, now known as Kadoma, Zimbabwe, a British settlement in South Africa, the son of the late Frank Alan and Mary (Porter) Wreford. On August 5, 1989 he married Tammy Sue Herr. John was a member of Berrien Center Bible Church and a media tech at Life Action Ministries.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Tammy; a son: Mark Alan Wreford; a brother: Peter Wreford; sisters: Margaret (Nigel) Taylor, Ann (Jeff) Kuper, Veronica (Jonathan) Johnson-Butcher and Patricia (Mick) Stanton.

John was also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen (Nicoll) Wreford in 1982 and a sister, Elizabeth VanBuren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman
