Joshua Scott Tomsheck, 43, of St. Joseph, went to be with his Lord on June 14, 2026 after a brief illness.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106. Memorial contributions may be given to the Josh Tomsheck legacy fund. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Josh was born in Berrien Center, prematurely, to William and Keitha Tomsheck. Josh attended Lakeshore High School and worked primarily in building and landscaping at Nature’s Way and finally at The Caretakers, his brother- and sister-in-law’s family business. Josh was well known for being a hard worker.
Josh married Shelly Bushong, the love of his life, on July 2, 2016 in Pigeon Forge, TN, after three years of dating. The greatest joy of his life was his daughter, Allison “Ally” Dawn. He was so proud of her recent high school graduation and the young lady she has grown up to be. Josh loved and excelled at being a husband, a father, and a homeowner.
Josh’s passion in this life was bowling. He bowled in leagues and participated in many tournaments. Bowling was always on his mind.
Josh loved NASCAR and Notre Dame and finally got to go to a game with his dad in November. He loved motorcycles, trucks, fishing, kayaking and camping. He loved the Lord and attended church his entire life. Full Gospel Assembly, Niles Avenue Baptist Church, New Freedom and finally, East Gate Life all helped strengthen his spiritual journey.
Josh is survived by his wife, Shelly; his daughter, Ally; Dad and Stepmom: William and Pam Tomsheck; stepsiblings: Matt Monroe, Eric Monroe and Maddie Tomsheck; his goddaughter, Piper Tomsheck; his dogs: BooDa and Rocky; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Keitha Tomsheck; grandparents: Tom and Sharon Tomsheck; stepsister, Amanda Rider; his beloved dog, Duke; and cat, Bailey.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
