Judith Thran

Judith Anne Thran, 73 of Bridgman passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at her home.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 - 4 PM Monday, December 11, 2017 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Judith was born May 24, 1944 in Niles the daughter of the late Vearle and Dorothy (Keith) Sample. On May 17, 1986, Judith married Gary Lee Thran and they shared 31 years together. She owned the Bridgman Cafe. Judith enjoyed camping, had a love for cats, and was second nature to sewing and crafting.

Survivors include her husband: Gary Lee Thran; daughters: Lisa (John) Draper, Jennifer (Dakota) Kenny, Debbie Moore, Jennifer (Danny) Davison, Melissa (Mike) Gerlach; grandchildren: Sam Hance, Rachael (Eric) Dawson, Chris, Cole, and Bret Gerlach, Gabe Gembala, Cage and Presley Davison, Kelsey Puckett and Ben Adinolfi; great grandchildren: Zackary Hance, Savannah Hance, and Serenity Dawson; and her sister: Janet K. Sample.

Judith was also preceded in death by her brother: Vearle K. Sample.
