Judy Ellen Novak

Judy Ellen Novak, 73, of Stevensville passed away on May 22, 2022 at her home.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, with Pastor Scott Reeve, officiating. A private burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family from 1 -2 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Judy was born on February 19, 1949 in Benton Harbor, to John D. and Pearl (Curry) Bohannan. She married her husband, Joseph Novak, on February 14, 2004. She retired from M&W Tire in 2014 and had previously worked for All-Phase Electric Supply for over 29 years. She was a life member of the National Rifle Association and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was a past board member of the Watervliet Rod and Gun Club for 18 years. Judy was also a DNR certified hunter safety instructor for over 20 years.

Judy enjoyed baking, scrapbooking, crocheting, and reading. She especially enjoyed watching the birds in her backyard., which she and her husband cared for and fed year-round.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband: Joseph; a son: Curtis Crawford; grandsons: Travis Crawford, and Blake Ward; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and personal friends.

She was also preceded in death by half-sister: Verna Anthony; half-brothers: Earl Gulley and John A. Bohannann.
