Candace “Kandie” Ann VanDyke

Kandie VanDyke, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Holland Hospital, Holland.

A gathering of family and friends with a time of sharing will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Central Wesleyan Church, Entrance G, 446 W. 40th Street, Holland. Kandie will be laid to rest at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com

Kandie was born July 10, 1963 in Grand Rapids. She will be remembered as the Coupon Queen and mom to all lost boys. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a meal or place to rest. On June 24, 1999 she married Michael VanDyke and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2005.

Survivors include her son: Getty Lee Veurink; in-laws: Dennis and Karen Minnema: sisters-in-law: Ellen and Cory Slotman and MaryJo and Ben Lacy; many loving nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Special friends: Ina Dekker, Anthony Smith and Ody Bouathong.

Kandie was also preceded in death by her parents: "Stew" and Joyce Stewart.
