Kay Godfrey Cramer, 65, of Stevensville was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home.
A celebration of life will be planned for the Spring. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com
Kay was born October 7, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Hartman) Godfrey. Kay was very devoted to and proud of her five children: Joseph (Lisa Johnson) Nitz, Jason Nitz, Julia Thackston, Michael Thackston and Katelyn Moran. She adored her seven grandchildren: Camron, Paige, Michael, Jonah, Emilia, Ryan and Matthew.
She is survived by her father, Donald (Bonnie) Godfrey; a stepfather: Larry Ball: her siblings, whom she was very close to: Jane (Robert) Godfrey Cunningham, Judy Schultz, Jay Godfrey, Todd Godfrey; stepsisters: Tina Schaeffer and Angel Nelson and a stepbrother, Artie Stine. Kay’s mother, Marjorie Ball, preceded her in death in 2018.
She valued her Four Winds family, where she was employed for 10 years. Kay enjoyed cooking for her family, visiting Rockville, Indiana and her Salted Caramel Budino from the coffee shop. Kay cherished time spent with her brothers and sisters and her many dear friends; many considered her a mentor and a second mom.
Kay was a Christian and a patriot; she deeply loved God and her country. She was a loyal, generous, kind soul who shared all that she had with others. She loved to make people laugh and she was loved by all who knew her. She leaves behind so many friends. We will miss her beautiful smile until we all meet her again in Heaven.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremations Service, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman.
