Kelli Ray Bryant, 51, of Berrien Springs, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5th, 2024.
Kelli was born December 26, 1972 in South Bend, Indiana. He was the son of Carolyn Ann (Bryant) Gargis and James Walker Gargis. Kelli loved playing Army and made it his mission after graduation from Edwardsburg High School in 1991 to join the Army. He spent 4 years in the service and was in the Ranger Training Brigade and Airborne Infantry. Kelli met his wife Kimberly in 2005 in South Bend, IN. They married in 2006 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. His oldest Daughter, Morgan was born in 2006 and in 2007 Kelli, Kim and Morgan moved across the country to Arizona. Kaitlyn was born a few years later in 2010 and completed their little family. Kelli and his family spent 15 years in Arizona and moved back to Michigan at the end of 2021 to be closer to family. Kelli was a journeyman for local 172 (Plumbers and Pipefitters) out of South Bend, IN.
He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved the outdoors. Kelli loved Arizona, and everything about it, the heat, hunting, fishing and camping in the tall pines with family and friends. He loved going on walks with the family dogs, even the one that his oldest daughter brought home (when he told her no.) He had the biggest heart and would do anything for his family and friends.
Kelli leaves behind his wife: Kimberly (Chaddock,); daughters: Morgan and Kaitlyn; parents: Carolyn (Bryant) and Walker Gargis; brothers: James Cody and William (Jessica Langlois) Christpher; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
Kelli was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Shirley (Rogers) Bryant.
A memorial will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024 from 1-4 PM at the Baroda American Legion, Post 345. 9214 1st Street, Baroda, MI 49101 All are welcome to attend and visit with Kelli’s family and friends, share stories and memories and join us for a little of Kelli’s favorite food (Polish sausage, chicken, etc.) Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
