Kevin Charles Green

Kevin Charles Green, 73, of Stevensville passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at CrownePointe of Stevensville.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery, 9000 Church St., Bridgman, MI 49106. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085 or the Humane Society of SW Michigan, 5400 S. Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Kevin was born on December 28, 1951 in Chicago the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Johns) Green. Following the death of his father in 1964, the family moved to Michigan in 1967. Kevin graduated from Lakeshore High School. He was the Stevensville Street Superintendent for 20 years, on the Tri-Unit Fire Department for 28 years, and the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for 15 years, retiring in 2016. Kevin was the president of the Berrien County Firemen’s Association, past treasurer at the Berrien County FOP Lodge 96, and a member of Sons of the American Legion Post 568 in Stevensville. Through the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, he transported the performers for the Berrien County Youth Fair, which he enjoyed very much.

Survivors include his brother, Keith (Martha) Green; nephews: Jason (Brook) Green, Eric Green, and Cory (Sarah) Green; four great nieces and a great nephew.
