Lawrence Olson

Lawrence “Pastor Larry” Grant Olson, 63, of Bridgman, a faithful warrior, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan.

A celebration service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Lake Michigan Christian Center, 9955 Church Street, Bridgman, with Reverend Fred Gulker officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. As an expression of your love, memorial contributions may be directed to Lake Michigan Christian Center for medical expenses.

Pastor Larry was born June 2, 1950 in Detroit, the son of Alfred Lawrence and Hilda Rose (Suderman) Olson. On April 13, 1979 he married Karyn Lynnette Hamilton. Pastor Larry was the Senior Pastor of Lake Michigan Christian Center and District Secretary Treasurer of the International Ministry Network. Every person Pastor Larry came in contact with was changed.

Survivors include his wife, Pastor Karyn; daughters - Angela (Chad) Gatchell of Stevensville, Lisa (Jimmy) Guerino of Las Vegas; grandchildren - Reagan and London Gatchell, Jadyn and Gianna Guerino; his father - A. Larry Olson of Stevensville; brother - Mark (Lisa) Olson of Canada; and sisters - Connie (Richard) McDougald of Washington, Pamela (Mike) Gibbs of Bridgman.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother - Hilda Rose Olson in 2011.
