Leslie Fredrick Ott, 79, of Bridgman, MI passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday March 3, 2015 in Pensacola Beach, Florida. A Coronation Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bridgman with the Reverend Jon Bendewald officiating. Friends may meet with the family at a luncheon in the gymnasium immediately following the service. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman, Michigan.

Les was born on September 29, 1935 in Baroda Michigan to the late Fred A. and Edith (Gast) Ott. On May 11, 1957 he married Constance M. Prudek and they shared 57 years together. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir and enjoyed the Christian Contemporary Service.

Les has been employed by Baroda Lumber Co., Paramount Die Cast, Respond Inc., Strefling Oil Co. and retired from Cook Nuclear Plant after 30 years of service.
Les enjoyed gardening, collecting toy tractors and trucks, anything John Deere, was a diehard Detroit Tigers fan and loved attending any and all activities that his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in.

Les is survived by his wife Connie of Bridgman. Two sons- Richard K. (Debbie) Ott of Huntsville, AL and Timothy L. Ott of Glendora, MI, and one daughter- Christal (Jim) Wall of Bridgman, MI.; Six grandchildren- Timothy J. (Tiffany) Ott , Douglas M. (Jennifer) Wall, Trista N. (Nathan) Schweitzer, Derek C. Ott, Roberta N. Wall and Eric L. Ott ; Five Great-Grandchildren and one on the way- Braxton, William and Kylie Ott, Maddox and “New Baby” Wall, and Dylan Schweitzer ; Four sisters- Mabel Schmaltz, Lorraine Reifschneider, Shirley (Larry) Eber, and Donna Mach all of Baroda, MI.; many nieces and nephews and a very beloved dog, his “Baby Girl” Lexie.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, one sister Adeline Hasse and four brothers- Ervin, Norman, Raymond and Herbert Ott.
