Lois Sommer
Mrs. Sommer was born May 27, 1918 in St. Joseph the daughter of the late Ray and Mayme (Myers) Murray. On June 15, 1940 she married August G. Sommer and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1998. Lois was an elementary school teacher with River Valley Schools, retiring in 1973. She had served as Choir Director at Faith United Methodist Church and Olivet Congregational Church in Bridgman.
