Lorraine Geraldine Mabry, 86, of Bridgman, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Crown Pointe in Stevenville.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Reverend Terrell Schneider officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 1 - 2 PM at the funeral home before the service begins. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Faith United Methodist Church, PO Box 414, Bridgman, MI 49106 or The Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Bridgman Post 331, 4241 Legion Street, Bridgman, MI 49106.

Lorraine was born December 7, 1928 in Bridgman, the daughter of the late Otto and Augusta (Pastrick) Witt. Living in Bridgman her entire life and graduating from Bridgman High School, she married Jack Mabry on May 24, 1947. Lorraine really loved the water and taking long rides down to Weko Beach every evening, and every morning she went to breakfast. She enjoyed taking trips to Florida with her husband. Throughout Lorraine’s life she had great fun playing shuffle board, bingo, and many other games. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Bridgman Post 331. Her love for the Lord was visible in her care for helping people.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years - Jack; her sister - Elaine; and many caring and loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was also preceded in death by two brothers - Daniel and Robert Witt.
